« The most attractive models from the legendary collections »

If you rank watch brands by their appeal to women, few manufacturers come close to the level of the top Swiss label Omega. The renowned manufacture from Biel, Switzerland, knows how to pair its great name with a wide range of elegant collections for the female wrist. From Seamaster and De Ville to Constellation and Speedmaster: we show you the most beautiful models Omega's world-famous lines have to offer the stylish woman.

Constellation Manhattan: Distinctive and Extraordinary

With nearly 150 variants, the Constellation ladies' collection is one of the largest women's lines in the watch world, offering everything from the timeless stainless steel version at €3,000 to a €60,000 jewel set with gold and diamonds. On the market since 1982 and marketed until recently as the Constellation Manhattan, the collection stands out from the crowd thanks to a series of unmistakable details. The focus is on the integrated design, with a seamless transition from the case to the single-row "Mono-Rang" solid bracelet, which broke the unwritten rule of classic leather straps in 1982 and caused quite a stir. Equally characteristic are the four claws (also called "Griffes") on the bezel, which give these ladies' watches a bold, solid presence. The current fifth generation of the Manhattan also features modern Roman numerals on the bezel, skeletonized leaf hands, and a central date window at six o'clock.

Three sizes are available: while the smaller 25 mm and 28 mm versions are powered by the quartz movement 4061, all 29 mm models use the automatic Co-Axial caliber 8700. Among our favorite Omega watches for women is the 29 mm stainless steel version with a midnight-blue starry sky (Ref. 131.10.29.20.53.001), created by a dial made of aventurine glass.

Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M: Timeless and Rugged

The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M for women takes a more classic approach than the Constellation. Rather than an integrated design, conventional curves and swim-ready water resistance of 150 meters set the tone here. The dials have a maritime feel as well: many models feature a wave pattern and adopt the famous arrow-shaped minute hand of the men's Seamaster editions. Fashion-conscious women can choose from three sizes (28, 34, and 38 millimeters). The smallest relies on electric quartz power, while the two larger ones are driven by the chronometer-certified automatic movements 8800 and 8801. The range comprises around 70 versions, covering a price span of €3,000 to €50,000.

To find your way through the Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M lineup, we recommend asking two questions: Which size suits me best? Which material (stainless steel, gold, two-tone) do I want? Our favorite for women is the 34 mm version with a steel-and-gold case and a blue dial with wave pattern (Ref. 220.20.34.20.03.001). Truly enchanting, but sinfully expensive, is the top-of-the-line model in 18-karat Sedna gold with 498 diamonds (Ref. 220.55.34.20.99.003).

De Ville Ladymatic: Delicate and Jewel-Like

What all Omega watches for women have in common is a success story spanning decades. It all began in 1955 with the Ladymatic, one of the world's first women's watches with automatic winding. Today, more than 60 years later, the classic returns to the spotlight as the De Ville Ladymatic, with a contemporary 34 mm diameter. Its unmistakable trademark is the traditional pocket-watch look, defined by the single, central attachment of the case to the bracelet. It's an aesthetic that fascinates brand ambassador Nicole Kidman as much as countless wearers around the world. Different, but not eccentric – the Ladymatic's slight distance from the rest of Omega's watches for women makes it an excellent insider tip. All editions are powered by the Co-Axial caliber 8520 or 8521 with automatic winding and a 50-hour power reserve.

The ladies' watches with mother-of-pearl dials deserve special mention, and the dark Tahitian mother-of-pearl dials (e.g., Ref. 425.32.34.20.57.004) stand out in particular. Brown, red, green – the play of colors on this Omega captivates the beholder and combines with round diamond indexes to form a true work of art. At the top of the line are the Luxury Editions, of which we are especially taken with the imaginative 18-karat red gold version with a floral diamond pattern (Ref. 425.67.34.20.55.006). The latter sells for around €41,000, while the entry-level models of the De Ville Ladymatic series cost just under €8,000.

Speedmaster 38: Powerful and Confident

We have highlighted the Speedmaster 38 as a great all-rounder in our magazine several times before. And in an article on the most beautiful Omega watches for women, there's no getting around this likable baby Moonwatch. Named after its 38 mm diameter, this bold Omega is the perfect Speedmaster for women and looks excellent on men with slimmer wrists, too. Its trademark is the oval subdials, arranged in a classic tri-compax layout with 30-minute, 12-hour, and 60-second registers. An equally oval date at six o'clock rounds out the functions. The dial is framed by a tachymeter bezel whose two-part construction is one of the highlights of the Speedmaster 38: if you opt for a diamond-set version, the markings on the inside of the ring are still retained. On the back, these women's watches have no display window; instead, they reinforce their solid feel with a solid caseback featuring the traditional Seahorse medallion.

Buyers can choose between stainless steel, two-tone, and solid 18-karat gold. If the latter fits your budget, we recommend Ref. 324.68.38.50.02.003 with a cappuccino dial, diamond bezel, and taupe leather strap. Rarely have different shades of brown and yellow harmonized so well. If you prefer a sportier stainless steel model, we suggest the Speedmaster 38 with a light-blue dial, steel bracelet, and dark-blue accents (Ref. 324.38.38.50.03.001). With a manufacturer's price of €7,800, it is one of the more affordable – and at the same time most exciting – Omega watches for women.
