The collections
From 1911 onward, the manufacture bore the name "Fabrique des Montres Zenith." After a two-year development period, the El Primero chronograph movement was unveiled in the 1970s. It was the first automatic movement of that era to feature 36,000 vibrations per hour. Owing to its high production quality, the "El Primero" is today regarded as the most famous movement in its class. This high quality is still reflected today in the collections, which include the Zenith Pilot series, first launched in 1909.
