Few novelties of 2026 have caused as much of a stir in the watch world as the Tudor Monarch. Right on time for the brand's 100th anniversary — the name "The Tudor" was registered as a trademark in 1926 — the sister brand of Rolex brings back a model name from its own history and reinterprets it from the ground up: as an elegant-sporty wristwatch with a character of its own, deliberately set apart from the house's diving icons. How proud Tudor is of its heritage is also evident in the Tudor 1926 collection, which carries the founding year in its name.
Faceted case and California-style champagne dial
The Monarch's appearance is defined by its finely faceted stainless steel case, measuring 39 mm in diameter and just 11.9 mm in height, with alternating polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The faceted two-link stainless steel bracelet continues the angular design language and can be fine-adjusted via the practical T-fit clasp. The centrepiece is the dark, vertically brushed champagne dial: applied Roman numerals in the upper half and Arabic numerals in the lower half echo the legendary California style, complemented by blackened, faceted Snowflake hands and a small seconds display at 6 o'clock. A sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and 100 m of water resistance make the Monarch perfectly suited to everyday wear.

Inside works the manufacture calibre MT5662-2U — COSC-certified as a chronometer and additionally tested by METAS as a Master Chronometer, accurate to −2/+4 seconds per day and highly resistant to magnetic fields. Its 65-hour power reserve comfortably carries the watch through a weekend. Perlage, Côtes de Genève and an 18k gold inlay on the rotor deliver a level of finishing that is rare in this price range.
