The texture of water on the bezel
The Oris Aquis Date Relief gets its name from the three-dimensional texture of its unidirectional rotating dive bezel. Mounted on a 43.5-millimeter stainless steel case with a generous 300 meters of water resistance, its gray tone expresses the soul of untamed waters. The emotions of the stormy sea come through even more strongly on the dial of the Aquis Date Relief: protected by domed sapphire crystal on both sides, it shines in a fascinating gray tone with a sunburst finish and scores – like the dive watches of the Oris Aquis Date series – with a richly detailed design.
Highlights of the diving model are the red-contrasted seconds hand, which optionally corresponds with a red rubber strap, as well as the applied indices with Superluminova coating. Like the hands, the markers emphasize the high quality of the Swiss watches with their silvery shine and highlight the powerful character of the Aquis Date Relief. A central date window at six o'clock preserves the harmonious symmetry of the dial.

On the back you look through a mineral glass display back into the Swiss automatic movement Oris 733, based on the long-trusted Sellita SW 200-1. The Date Relief was developed together with the Swiss expedition swimmer Ernst Bromeis to raise awareness of the existential importance of water on our planet.
