Things look quite different at NOMOS Glashütte/SA Roland Schwertner KG. In 1990 he registered the company, and just 2 years later four base models appeared at once, with which the firm made a textbook start.

NOMOS Glashütte is so successful that it has not just the required 50 percent, but a full 75 to 95 percent produced in Glashütte. The Metro was first presented in 2014 at Baselworld, the most important watch and jewelry fair in the world. Named in reference to the metropolises of this world, the Metro is at home everywhere. The elegant silver dial with its clear layout shows you, in addition to the power reserve of the hand winding, also the date and a small seconds. Particularly interesting about the watch from NOMOS Glashütte is that it does not show the normal 12 or 24 hour division, but that of a stopwatch. In this way the Metro acquires an international flair that lets it be just as at home in the office as on an elegant evening or in leisure time.
