An effective sunburst finish in vivid blue

Just like its sister model Panova Grau, the blue Mühle Panova features a 40-millimeter, 10.4-millimeter-flat stainless steel case with a brushed surface and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Distinguished by a screw-down crown and a solid stainless steel back, it possesses water resistance to 100 meters – impressive for a dress watch – and can thus be worn while swimming without a problem. Aesthetic versatility is guaranteed by the quick-change straps of the Mühle Glashütte Panova Blau: while leather supports a formal business look, multicolored textile straps go hand in hand with a carefree casual look.

On the dial of the Panova Blau, its name says it all: a striking sunburst finish in dark blue extends across the entire surface, creating an excellent contrast to the orange seconds hand and the matching indices. The latter give the Mühle Glashütte not only perfect symmetry but, thanks to dot-shaped luminous surfaces, also effortless legibility at night. Richly detailed finishing of the movement

The Panova Blau draws its power from the Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW 200-1. Characterized by 38 hours of power reserve, it is enhanced by the traditional Glashütte brand in several details: alongside the locally typical swan-neck regulation, in the Mühle Panova Blau it receives an individual rotor, comprehensive surface finishing and blued screws. It thus bears witness to that passion for watchmaking that has driven the company since its founding by Robert Mühle in 1869. As the only Glashütte manufacture, Mühle is still owned by the founding family, which now looks back on five generations full of ups and downs. In the 1990s the brand received its present name "Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte" and produces, alongside wristwatches, ship's clock systems and marine chronometers.
