But in 1975 the enterprise established its own creation under the name Maurice Lacroix in Austria. Only one year later, they entered the Spanish market. Afterwards the success story continued. In the 1980s they expanded their marketing strategy, a factory was bought where the cases should be produced and in the 1990s Maurice Lacroix made the international break through – not least because of the watches’ caseback made of glass, which the label offered first. In 2001 the company became independent.
