But in 1975 the company launched its first own model under the name Maurice Lacroix in Austria. One year later, the brand also entered the Spanish market with great success. From then on, the company's history reads like a picture book. In the 1980s distribution channels were expanded, a case factory was acquired, and in the 1990s the international breakthrough finally followed. This was achieved not least thanks to the glass caseback, which Maurice Lacroix was one of the very first to offer. Since 2001 the company has been independent, and there is no end in sight to its success story, partly because of its extremely good value for money. The best-known watch in the current range is probably the Maurice Lacroix Aikon or the Aikon Chronograph. Hardly less popular are the Eliros, Fiaba, Miros and Pontos collections.
