Hallmark: six prongs on the bezel

Like its sister models of the Aikon Automatic Chronograph, like the entire Maurice Lacroix Aikon collection, the Automatic sets itself apart from the broad masses with the six prongs of its bezel. Also referred to as arms that give the watch design strength and stability, they open up countless design possibilities for the collection: in addition to bicolour models with gold-plated prongs and classics with a refined contrast between polished and satin-brushed surfaces, diamond-set spaces are also possible on the women's models.

Four sizes of the Aikon Automatic are available: while a 35-millimetre diameter is a perfect option for the feminine wrist, 42 and 44 millimetres guarantee a confident look on men. Added to this are the new unisex variants with harmonious 39 millimetres. Every Automatic is made of robust stainless steel, wards off scratches with sapphire crystal and features an integrated design with a flowing transition between case and bracelet. Whether the latter comes in a solid or leather version with a folding clasp is determined by your preferences.

200 metres of water resistance and Swiss automatic movement

Individuality also characterises the dials of the elegant Maurice Lacroix: black, silver, grey and blue are part of the spectrum just as much as feminine mother-of-pearl and rosé variants. From a technical point of view, the Automatic has two highlights to offer: on the one hand the excellent water resistance of 200 metres, on the other the precise movement ML 115. Based on the industry-respected Sellita SW200-1, it gives the Aikon Automatic 38 hours of power reserve at 28,800 vibrations per hour. An exception is the exclusive 44-millimetre variant, which combines 100 metres of water resistance with a manufacture movement of the ML225 type. The transparent top models of the Aikon Automatic Skeleton collection also demonstrate the technical capability of the Swiss manufacturer.
